      Smile Newbie girl :)

      hello to everyone in here,
i am 24 yrs old, and well i have had numerous amounts of lucid dreams and a couple of OBEs, i never really seeked anyone who had similar experiences since i thought it was weird and that would make me weird in front of other people. also my sister is always (ALWAYS!) telling me her dreams and i find her annoying, she doesnt view hers as lucid or OBEs but as apocalyptic or forecasting for future events. she lives by what her dreams and horoscopes mean. but anyway, i had my first OBE when i was 17, it really scared me, especially because not only did i see my body from the top but i also saw a dark shadow in my room that was staring at me, i forced myself back into my body and woke myself by praying in my lucid state of mind. the week that this happened was really strange because both of my closest friends had similar lucid dreams which they mentioned to me, but they just thought they were nightmares and pure coincidence.

well aside from the scary, i have also experienced lucid dreams where i see my deceased loved ones and those are very nice because i know i am dreaming but i try and make the most out of the time that i am able to see them, (like hug, kiss, and converse) with them.

the popular movies: Boogeyman, The fourth kind, and Incedious, all left me with a weird feeling. although the movies are way too exxagerated and fictious, the base of lucid dreaming is found and it drew me to seek others who have felt these experiences.

One question I do have is about mutual lucid dreaming. Do any of you have stories to share about it? also, would you consider deja vu from a dream?

when i meet someone new or see someone i have never seen before out in public, i seldom get the strongest feeling that i have seen them in my dreams. has this happened to anyone else?

Hi and welcome to DV! Shared Dreaming isn't scientifically proven, but alot of people still believe in it. Check it out here: Beyond Dreaming

I've had a few dreams come true, but imo it's just coincidence. Everyone has a right to believe whatever they want though, no one will slander you for your beliefs here on DV.

I have had experiences involving strangers in my room every time that I have ever attempted an OBE.
      That's creepy.

      Welcome to the forums, yo!
