Hello to all the people on this forumn, id just first like to thank you all for your many wonderfull and interesting posts, I think there are a lot of people sharing encourgament and enthusiasm and that is great. I have found my way here due to the fact that nobody in my close community is really interested in the dream realm to the point where we can have active conversation over it.
I was hoping to be able to speak with some folks about the expreinces ive been having,
Ill shortly introduce myself
Im sam, 28 years old , living in copenhagen denmark but originally from uk. I have had before this last month seldom lucid dream, and in each happening I had run around most suprised and then woke up.
This is my second attempt to keep a dream journal and im over a month in now, I think i have come lucid around 5 or six times, and felt in a state of paraylsis around 4 times. I have found my recall is steadily improving and im keeping my motivation, ive also noticed a few regular dreams signs.
The lucid dreams i have entered so far however (excluding the dream that encouraged me to actively attempt to have them!) have been very hard to stay in for too long. The main thing that has been a little weird is that i have little to no eyesight. Would those of you who are practiced at lucid dreaming call this is a common occurence? has anyone actively trained up their visual expereinces, or do you view it as simply a mental block or something that comes in time? often the world has been very blurry and i get snippets.
In early expereinces i woke up, but now im finding i can remain by using this hand rubbing teqnique, or touching the floors and my face and things like that. It is very exciting to use touch but i am craving the visual asepct of the dream in lucidity.
Last night i expreinced two lucid dreams, both within my bedroom i felt things and then something very strange happened.
Very clear vision came yet the top half was blurred like my eyes were mangled or something! I however was very happy to have some vision, and stattered tottering around the dream opened a window and had my first floating dream.
I guess my main query is in how to stablize vision , are there any tricks? spinning seems to not work for me at all and wakes me up, which is a shame because i love the idea.
Any help and tips on vision within the dream realm would be great.
Hoping to hear back from you
sam
