Finally first LD! =].

Finally had my first lucid last night *cheers!* It was actually a really funny experience, I remember dreaming that I was in some sort of hallway thinking, hang on this isn't right. I slowly raise my right hand to my nose, plug it and try to breath - SUCCESS! The funniest thing about it was me trying to keep calm and failing. I was telling myself the right things but it was clear I was excited; it was a bit like "OMG THIS A DREAM, OK CALM DOWN, CALM DOWN. OK STABALIZE, STABALIZE! KNEEL DOWN AND FEEL THE FLOOR, WALLS ETC!" I woke up instantly and giggled to myself lol, it was really cool though.

Haha, it's cool that you don't take it so seriously I think you will have more fun that way. Anyway great job on your first lucid and I wish you many more!

Nice job having your first LD! It's great that you enjoyed it, and hopefully you won't stop at just one, you'll keep going for it and having more LDs . Don't worry too much about not being able to get everything down in your first LD; you'll gain the skills over time and get better and better at lucid dreaming if you keep practicing and stay confident in yourself. Lol, there's no point me getting stressed about it, for me that was a success, the reason I found it funny was because it's so typically me to be going apeshit in my head. Imagine, I'm slowly kneeling down, taking a deep breath and touching the floor and my hands nice and gently, all the time thinking "OMG OMG OMG!" haha!! Thanks for the support, this site has been amazing for helping with my first encounter and no way to I plan to stop there ShockWave. I have many things planned =P. Enjoy your camping trip man.
