      Exclamation Help!

Alright, I have posted in this forum before, but I feel I need more help. I don't get much sleep. I wake up early and get to bed later than I should. How can I improve my chances of having a LD that's not a WILD, or doesn't involve disturbing my sleep?
I have had one LD and want to again really badly, but have had no avail to my various efforts.
      Thanks!!!

How long have you been attempting to LD? Some people take weeks or months before they get their first LD, so you have to be patient. Have you read through some of the tutorials on the site?

Make sure you keep a detailed dream journal and record your dreams as soon as you wake up, if possible. Also do frequent reality checks. You could try picking out some dream signs too, and training yourself to do a reality check whenever you see them. Try Puffin's DILD Guide if you haven't read it already.

      Good luck

      Thanks a bunch.
I think my best chance for some good REM sleep will be like afternoon naps. Any tips for that kind of sleep?

Afternoon naps definitely give you the best REM, and I've had most of my LD's from those types of naps. When attempting to go through it that way, your best bet is to become accustomed to always doing reality checks so next time you dream in a nap, you'll do one and realize you're dreaming.

Try and find your REM period.
You get REM periods every 90mins after you fall asleep.
Calculate it and then do your WILD there.
Read WILD guides for more info on how to do them.

I have tried many, many times to WILD and I can't seem to get to the hypnog- images thing. Sorry I don't know that word. I just had my second LD though, using the SAT.
