      Greetings!

      Hello to everyone!

I've just created an account and decided to introduce myself, so here I am... introducing myself. Right... ^^

I remember having a lucid dream in my childhood. I'm certain it wasn't the only one, but it is the one that stuck with me up until now. I did not know how to explain it or what it meant until recently when I found out and understood about Lucid Dreaming.

The dream was very enjoyable and I still find it funny. When I was younger, I loved playing with legos, so in my dream it just so happened that I was playing with an endless amount of them. At first, of course, I didn't realize it was a dream and I was happy. However, after a moment I took notice in the quantity and variety of legos and I questioned myself how come I had so much and where did it all come from?

Then it hit me! I'm dreaming! It explained everything but it also made me a bit sad. After all...that meant it wasn't real and that everything will be gone soon.
But - I guess since I'm an optimist - I didn't let that thought bother me too much, because I said to myself "better enjoy it while it lasts" and with that said, I went right back into creating robots and spaceships with a huge smile on my face hehe ^^

Well, I believe that was my first lucid dream experience and I wanted to share that with you

I've noticed there's a LOT of reading material here and I bet there's tons of useful advices and things I had no idea about and as such I'm pretty excited.

And now it's time to end this long introduction
I'll be seeing you around, dreamers

      Hey, welcome liVed.
I advise you try this structure for beginners.
This is the order I think is best done!
Start Dream Journal (Improve Recall) > Reality Check in the day + All Day Awareness > DILD > Mantra before bed > MILD > stay still when you wake up > DEILD.
      Tutorials below.

Acronym List - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views (This is what all the abbreviations mean)

      All Day Awareness By Puffin
DILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
MILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
DEILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

      Need anything else, PM me.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. It's really nice to see how dedicated and friendly you are.

Also, thank you for the suggestion, Arch, I will surely try it. I'm already keeping a dream journal and I do some reality checking (I think my lamp might break soon since I keep turning it on and off xD) but I'll need to check out the other stuff.

PS: giant legos would be awesome xD

      Thanks!
Well, to be honest it wasn't that exciting the first time I had a lucid dream (pointing towards the dream described above). Probably because at the time I didn't comprehend what it actually meant that I knew it was a dream. I didn't understand that I was inside a world that only exists in my mind. Realizing it's a dream didn't bring up any other feelings than a bit of sadness for losing all the legos ^^

The second time I had a lucid dream, which was recently, now that... that was life changing xD
