Cool Dreaming when having a fever

TELL ME IF YOU'VE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE BEFORE. I used to get mind boggling, horrifying and reoccuring dreams while I was stricken with fever. THIS IS HOW IT WENT: I am in this LARGE CAVE, and there are violent lound noises, like people harshly yelling, so lound it sounded like it could be right in your ear. All of a sudden, a HUGE MONSTROUS BOULDER came tumbling my way. IT WAS SO LOUD, SO VIOLENTLY LOUD, and it was ready to crush me. Somehow, it missed me and it rolled the other way. THEN IT WAS A DEAD SILENCE, LIKE A VACUUM. And out of the ground sprouted an innocent, delicate blade of grass, with a tiny flower on it. It was almost as if the grass was there to protect me, like it was a sign of relief. BUT MY FEAR CAME BACK INSTANTLY, because I knew that when that boulder would return, there was nothing that the little blade of grass could do to protect me. It was to delicate, so so delicate and so small. It was a helpless, hopeless, and terrifying feeling.
THEN I WOULD WAKE UP, and everything felt slow, and i felt so small, and my room felt so BIG, and my clock seemed so BIG!! It felt like i wasnt laying on a ordinary sized bed, but a bed the size of a runway. It looked like it was a mile to the other side of my room. YET at the same time, everying looked so close to me, yet they were so big, and far away at the same time. UNEXPLAINABLE. Sound seem to slow down too, and the digits on my clock seemed to get bigger and bigger, yet they never got bigger.

when I get a fever, my dreams become terrifying nightmares. I dont remember them, ever. But when I have them im half-awake and I will get up and walk around my house trying to hide, its the worst thing ever.

I have never really had this experience. I don't usually get fevers so I wouldn't know, but that does sound like a very freaky experience.

Sorry for the short answer. Feel better!

When I get fevers my dreams just become really messed up and weird. I used to get horrible nightmares with a fever when I was younger, not anymore. I can also NEVER get lucid when i'm sick. Maybe it has to do with the medicine?

And the physical exhaustion and mental exhaustion as well from the pain or whatever you are feeling.

Some of the worst dreams I have had in my life were results of a fever. They are not the traditional style of nightmare where fear is the primary emotion. Instead, I am desperately trying to solve some impossibly complicated logic problem. My head feels like it's going to explode and I can hardly breathe. What sucks is that even when the dreams end I am left in a hallucinogenic, delusional state in which I continue to strain myself solving the problem until I fall back asleep so the actual dreaming can continue...

Then at about 4:00AM I finally realize that the problem I am solving has absolutely nothing to do with real life and take some more medicine. I can never remember what I was trying to do after I wake up either. I just remember that I had spent hours of dream and half-awake time trying to solve it.

Ultimately I can prevent this stuff by taking some medicine before bed.

Fever dreams are awesome The hallucinations caused me to run out of the house, leap over a fence like superman, take my pants off, and hide in the creek. My family found me naked in the reeds, cryiing. I was convinced I had murdered someone and miniature aliens were chasing me.

When I have fever, my dreams are very vivid and weird, they're always very confusing.
I think they're both awesome and scary.

One of the first out of body experiences I ever had was caused by over dosing on cold medicine. I was falling asleep in class, and started getting that "Balloon Head" feeling. I felt like my consciousness was expanding outward to envelop the entire room. Cold medicine is powerful stuff. I definitely took way way too much of it when I was young.
