Expect the unexpected. An LD story? OK. Everything is a dream. Everything is playful. Everything is play. Now let me ask you and all here what you think. Is not everyday life a Lucid Dream too?

In lucid dreams you can pretty much do anything you want Fly and feel the wind on your face, battle a dragon, skydive, go to space, anything your imagination can let you do

      Being a lucid dreamer means:

      - Having lucid dreams, learn how to dream control, experiencing sensations, talking with people we want to talk to, discovering new scenarios, very amazing awakenings, and a DJ full of interesting stories where you are all the protagonist.

Being a lucid dreamer doesn't not mean:

      - Having a lucid dream every night, mastering all the techniques in a week, become a regular dreamer without working on it and really wanting it, always have perfect dream control or vividness.

In short, it's a great experience, even at the point where you only had 1 or 2 lucid dreams, you feel like this is what you want for your life. The road is as important as the reward, many people here in DV have more than 1 hundred Dream journal entries. Can you imagine 100 dreams of yours? Now even if only 10 of those are lucids, can you imagine what you can do and learn in 10 lucid dreams? It's a 2nd life, a place where everything goes around you, and where you can really explore what means living in your own mind. Finding more about yourself. Facing your fears, sharing experiences, dwelling among the mysterious dream world.

Sometimes I feel like I don't work hard enough, that 1 lucid per week is short, but my mind is already pumped to spend at least 2-3 hours a day reading/thinking about lucid dreams. Sometimes I walk on the street and think what I'm going to do in my next lucid, it's enough to produce an intense sense of joy and physical excitment. When I have a lucid dream, is a sense of accomplishment that I literally get stuck in a smile for the rest of the day. Not to mention that I now see night as my relax and fun time. Here in DV you really have a great time reading other people experiences, questions, doubts. It's great to feel that we're a community that strikes for such strange things like "hey guys, I've finally managed to shapeshift!" and that works on something that 90% of the population will never witness.

When I first discovered lucid dreaming, I had 2 lds in 2 nights, was super excited lol. When you have your first one, and notice how freaking amazing it feels having a dream body and walking in a dream scenario, I bet you won't be able to stop striking for lucidity again

Welcome ^_^ I recommend you read the DV wiki, the tab at the top of the website. You can read "official" techniques, more "user made" ones, etc.~

      Hi there my friend,

Glad you've joined DV. Hope you have a fun time staying here. I would recommend you to get yourself a dream journal to start jotting down your dreams in order for you to increase your dream recall. You should also try reading this dream recall tutorial to increase your knowledge in dream recall.

And have you already chosen a method to Lucid Dream? If you still haven't chosen one, I would really suggest that you should use the DILD method. It's a beginner-friendly method, try reading either Puffin's DILD Tutorial or DV's official DILD Tutorial.

The main thing you need in order to have an LD is patience and confidence. Try practicing daily my friend. If you get no results, don't be turned off. Just like what I've said: Patience. And be confident in every attempt you do. It's needed in Lucid Dreaming. If you still got questions, feel free to ask by either posting a thread or messaging any dream guide(title given to a person expert in LD) in this dream guide list. Hope this helps
