      61 point relaxation technique questions

I've been playing around with this 61 point thing for a while, and I've got a couple of questions about it:

      1. It says you should feel warmth or something on the points you're focusing on. I don't hehe. Can someone give more detail as to how to do it right? The book just kinda says picture yourself at the point. Am I visualizing myself sitting on my elbow, or do I pretend all my mass is actually at my elbow or what?

      2. Is this a relaxation thing I should just use whenever, or does it have a purpose towards future lucid goals? Should this be a pre-sleep thing to get you relaxed before going to sleep?

      3. I've been playing around with it in bed, before going to sleep. I find that I kinda tend to fall asleep as I do it. Should I be doing it earlier during less sleepy times instead?

      4. If it's some pre-sleep relaxation that I'm suppsoed to do in bed before going to sleep... Once I'm done (if I stay awake throughout hehe), should I just try to fall asleep while staying in the final position I was in at the end of the exercise, or is it ok to shift into my regular comfy sleep position (kinda on my side, makes the exercise awkward). A lot of these relaxation exercises involve pretending your limbs are getting real heavy, so I figure shifting around would do away with the illusion you set up for yourself...

thanks for entertaining these n00b questions =)

Hey there, I suggest you PM Howetzer, seeing as how he is the one who created that particular tutorial.

Sorry I can't really help ya more. Good luck.

      The technique

      Hello Replicon

I derived that technique straght from the book, "Exploring The world Of Lucid Dreaming". You may find it as (ETOLD) around the Froum.
All Lucid dremers really should have this book if no other that pertains to lucid dreaming.
      But back to the topic....
I think you have the right idea.
When I use this technique I rarely go through all the stages. If I do I find that I fall asleep as well. It is better to use this technique if you are not very tired. To use it as a form of meditation. If you do use all 61 points as he recommends you building up to you may find that it works better than I am aware of.
*I too do not get any warmth of any kind.

It can be used as a gernaral source of relaxation.
If used to facilitate lucid dreams I think you already know ---> "If it's some pre-sleep relaxation that I'm suppsoed to do in bed before going to sleep... "

Any more questions please feel free to PM me.

Thanks for the clarifications! I do own the book, which is where I first read the description for the technique.
