I have had this account for over a year-ish, but I have never really posted on here. I live up to my title of 'lurker' I guess :p But I think it's about time I make a post to introduce myself. So, hello, I'm Alysha!
I am doing my graduation project on Lucid Dreaming, and this site has been a huge help to me. I have been writing a dream journal for the project. I haven't published it on here, but I may do that once the project is over.
I think it'd be nice to post more frequently on here and make awesome dreaming friends, so feel free to talk to me.

This is ridiculous. I also live in North Carolina and in all likelihood (even though it's not until next semester) am doing my graduation project on lucid dreaming. Anyways, welcome to the site!

(I just looked at your profile and you said you moved to NC from Florida? I did too. More ridiculousness. I moved when I was 3 though.)

I'm probably doing my project on the science of sleep and dreaming. I'm thinking about video of interviews with people at the school and how they think dreams work followed by a scientific explanation of the more complex aspects of dreaming and the necessity of sleep. This followed by a section focused on lucid dreaming; the myths about it, the truth about it, and the benefits of it. All concluded by saying that dreams and conscious thought are still not fully understood.

Hm, that sounds interesting, good luck! I wanted to do a documentary type thing also but then I thought making a journal is something that I've always wanted to do, and it'd be useful to incorporate it into my project.
