      My First Lucid Dream Experience!

Hey guys, I've never had the urge to make an account here but now that I had my first lucid I've decided to make one. It's funny though, all throughout the dream I tried different techniques like flying, making people appearbut they never worked. The only ones that did were dream stabilization ones.

      Back story:
My mom woke me up at 9am to attend my online school class. My teacher made a ten minuet video for us to watch which I did then went back to bed. So basically I was doing a WBTB. I tried the finger technique I read about on here twice. Didn't work then I went to sleep.

I am in this limbo type place. The walls seemed to be an endless white going nowhere. There is random stuff scattered around like a piano, bouncing balls, and friends walking around. Some how somebody kills someone and disappears. I get a glimpse of the killer then the dream shifts.
Now I'm in a car being driven by 2 women. It's like hot wheels because we doing crazy stuff! We're riding through subways, almost getting hit. Riding up escalators. It's awesome! As we are waiting for the others to show up I kiss the girl driving then she slaps me. The girl in the passenger seat seems to want a kiss so I go to kiss her then the others show up.. They say they'er looking for the killer. I tell them I got a glimpse of him and they say I could roll with them.
The dream shifts and random stuff happens and now we are at Burger King. One of the guys went in to get some lunch while we wait out in the van. All of a sudden my little brother is sitting next to me. Should I tell him we're in a dream? Sure. I tell him while I tell him his eyes get big like he's in shock. The guy comes back with the food and then all of a sudden my dad is sitting on the other side of me. So, we ride away into the sunset on a lead the killer is someplace downtown and then the dream fades and I wake up.

It turns what woke me up was that the phone rag

It's funny though. When I woke up I had the feeling that I wasn't really lucid in the dream and that I was just regular dreaming. I did do RC's throughout the dream though so I knew I was lucid. Maybe because I didn't change the dream that much, I just went along for the ride? I don't know but I plan on having many more LD's!

Hey, welcome to Dreamviews Sounds like a fun LD!

In the few LDs that I've had, I had some trouble with control too. Usually I manage to fly, but I struggle with it a bit every now and then.

There are some techniques to use to make people appear or teleport yourself somewhere, for example. Instead of trying to make a person appear out of thin air, try looking for them. Assume that they're somewhere nearby and just go asking around and searching the building or wherever you are. Or with teleporting, instead of trying to make the dream setting morph around you, try to find a door somewhere and assume that when you open it, the new setting will be on the other side.

      Good luck having more LDs
