Where the heck do my dreams go ????!!!!!!

so i NEVER remembered a dream for about 5 years or so ... i started searching about dreaming about a month ago and found the term "Lucid Dream" and as i started learning about it i became really excited about it .... so i started working on my recall trying to write a journal but for about 3 days i got nothing .... then in about the 6th day i remembered a part of i dream when waking up in the middle of the night and as i turned to write it i totally forgot what it was about and just wrote 4 words that are barely meaningful (i was barely awake back then) ... from that day i never remembered anything again ... tried having alarms at 4.5-6 and 7.5 hours after sleep but i never got a thing ... meditating before sleeping , reminding myself to remember and write , drinking a lot of water b4 sleep to wake me up but still i got NOTHING !!!!

      what should i doo ??!!! :/

It takes time, I see you are doing the right things in terms of intention to remember your dreams before going to sleep, and also drinking water only helps if you drink enough to have to go pee, because your body will wake you up after a dream, and then you should remember it. Another important thing is movement. When you wake up from a dream, stay completely still and think about emotions, pictures, objects or ideas you may have been thinking of. Sometimes you will remember one thing about the dream eg. you were thinking about water, then you remember you were dreaming that you were swimming, underwater with many fish. This has happened to me, in fact there have been times where i wake up, forget the dream because I didn't bother to remember it, then i go take a shower, and during my shower I think about something, and then the whole dream memory gets triggered and I remember it. So try to stay stll and recall your dreams, if you still remember nothing try to think of ideas or emotions you may have been feelling

I also have problems recalling my dreams. It's been about 2-3 weeks since I started trying to record them and I've only managed to record 6 short dreams lol.

For me, it''s important to keep a good sleep rhytm going, sometimes autosuggestion helps too.

I focused not on trying to remember a mass of dreams when I finally woke up, but to wake up (consciously) numerous times throughout the night (after each REM cycle).

I discovered that most of my recall success could be attributed to temporal proximity. The smaller the gap between me waking and my latest dream, the more I recalled.

Drinking water is one method, but you can also try an alarm that plays continuous music at a reasonably low level. When in the NREM sleep, you're unlikely to be woken by its playing; however, at the end of a REM cycle where we all briefly awaken, it should be enough to catch your attention (depends on music and volume).
