i've had that exact dream before! oh man, it was good. generally at night i'm inundated w/ boring, mundane dreams that verge on being indistinguishable from reality, so anything out of the ordinary is welcome in my dreams.

I think video games tend to spawn some pretty incredible dreams. Have you been playing some lately? Alot of members have dreams about such things like this. I think the games really bring out the creativity in our dreaming world.

Video game dreams are awesome, though I'm not really the shooter type. Do you have a lot of them, or was this a first?

Surprisingly, I haven't been playing shooters like the one I described. I think the dream came partly from Halo 2 (which I played once) and a story that someone from another message board wrote about attending a gathering and being thrown onto an island where some crazed government official put explosive collars around everone's neck to force them to kill one another.

I don't really play many of those first person shooter games anyway. I play strategy and role playing games.

Yeah I knew it was some Halo2 going on in your world. I had a dream similar to that after playing a good game of Halo2 and yes I was definately in the first person. Majority of the time I dream in the 3rd person. But it was real cool. I was blowing shit up and shooting peoples heads off and Like when they head exploded the blood would hit the screen as if it was on TV. Good stuff...

As a game it would have been fun, but the dream did not have that sort of atmosphere.

Oh, sorry. To answer your question, this was the first time I've ever had a dream resembling the one we are discussing.
