      What am I doing WRONG-?????!!!!!!

So its this was my second try to be lucid but i think im doing something wrong the first night i had my dream journal my alarm clock and i had done all the reality checks like pinching my self. So i when to sleep thinking im gona have a lucid dream and i try to lay still while reapeting "im gonna have a lucid dream tonight" silently in my head as i was laying still for like 9min my body started vibrating really weirdly and my brain felt like it was beating fast and I sarted seeing this blury thing and suddenly I couldnt stand it i woke up and was shocked i thought i was killing my self.

And i woke up 1:30 min early to right down my dreams and i couldnt remember having any dream. (It really ssucked)

So on my second night i continued reading about this cool lucidity thing i wanted to do it so bad i couldnt wait any longer i read on this site it said eating bananas and milk increases your chances of having a LDs so i try it the first and second night right before i went to sleep and thought it would work but i didint get a single dream.

How can i be lucid if i cant even get dreams please help me i really want to have the same experience as everyone else. Even on the second i did the same routine reallity checks and reapeting and waking up early.
I thought i had a dream but it was all blury and i was half awake so i couldnt really see s
anything. I dont know whats wrong with me but ill keep on reading dreamview forums for tips. But i need to know if you need to have organised sleep time because the past few days i havent had enough sleep like 2-4 hours so i dont sleep well any tips to help.
      What am i doing wrong???

I want to master this art of Lucidity.

Hi! First of all, learning how to Lucid Dream isn't achieved over night. It takes years of dedication and practice to master this fully, but only days or weeks tops if you want to have your first. Relax! Know it might take a while for some people. If you're already riled up after not being able to achieve lucidity your second try then you will most likely lose motivation soon.

What you did is attempt to WILD when going to bed for the night. That's not ideal and if you do succeed in falling asleep, you won't end up in REM which is the part of sleep you dream in. Try the same thing after 6 hours into sleep. Set an alarm, get up and stay awake for a minute or so, then go back to sleep and attempt it again.

I consider myself to be pretty experienced when it comes to dreams, and even I doesn't always recall something when I wake up. This happens to everyone and even the masters can have dryspells.

Go to sleep with the intentions and perhaps repeat that mantra of yours. With only 2-4 hours of sleep you're up for some heavy dreaming tonight, that I guarantee you.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!
