Thread: Introduction

Hello, my name is Monica, but please call me Muon.
I'm very interested in dreams and the subconscious part of the mind.

I've found this website for the first time (I think) some days ago (maybe three?), read a lot of things (first the wiki articles, and later several guides in the forum) and then finally registered. I've know about lucid dreams for some time now, but only now i've found enough interest on reading about techniques and theory. No wondering why i've never got one before! My dream recall sucked at best, and I gave up writing my dream after some days trying in 2010. I think electronical writing don't work for me, as when I power my computer I get distracted by a lot of stuff! Interwebs woo~

I think I had one lucid dream last year, but now my memory is really blurry, and i'm not sure if i was half-lucid, or only in control of the dream. And I'm not worried about it, because I know I can get a lot more from where that one came from!

I found this site in google, after I had a sequence of days where I remembered my dreams. After reading the wiki, I got myself a notebook (it's yellow and purple and oh tmi in honour of prospit and derse) and wrote Yume Nikki (using japanese, it means Dream Diary) in its cover. I've also been a fan of Yume Nikki (and its fanworks like .flow) for three years (more than two, definitely), the game. I'm writing my dreams in it, and in three days i've remembered and wrote 6 or 7 dreams, and identified one false awakening (not lucid, but because my mother was in it and I asked her). That false awakening was kinda funny, maybe if you guys are interested I can talk about it here?

I'm trying to DILD, doing reality checks and trying to be more aware during the day (or the night, for that matter, since I sleep late, at 4am). Still gathering courage to experiment with WILD.
