      Hi!!!

um, well yeah i'm new obviously although i have been lurking here for a while before i decided to make an account type thingy.

well i think i'll write a little bit about my lucid experiences. i have had none hehe. often in dreams i know that i'm dreaming, but i just carry on with the dream as normal. i am hoping this site can change all that.

so that's about it really. thank you for your time

Welocme, monkifish. I think this site will definitely help you out a great deal. Since you seem to realize that you are dreaming often it shouldn't take you very long to have a successful lucid dream. Anyway, good luck with it.

Hey there! Welcome to the forum.

It's great that you already have the ability to know that you are dreaming...next time that happens do a reality check to make sure. Some good ones are to try to sick your finger through your palm, hold your nose closed and try to breathe in, look at a digital clock and see if the numbers change....etc. There is a whole list of reality checks.

Anyways since you already seem to have an idea that you are dreaming and then just kinda go along with it anyway to me that suggests that your mind still has some doubt...so doing a reality check to prove that you are dreaming should allow you to become fully lucid and from there you can change and shape your dreamscape how you see fit.

There is alot of information in the Dream Control forum that will help you learn how to control your dreams and certain techniques you can use once you are lucid. Also you might want to check out the tutorials sections and read up on the list of acronyms we use here such as (LD, DC, WILD, MILD,etc)

Good luck, and if you have any questions feel free to send me a PM!

      -nina
