Hi guys, my name is Cesar and i always thought lucid dreams were a interesting thing and I love to read about things that science can't fully explain... |

I remember that the light was a lil blurry and one of the dream characters was someone that appears often in my dreams but rarely in real life... I guess that made me realize it was a dream... but still... i had another dreams that this person appeared but it didn't triggered my lucidity >_< that sucks and i woke up kinda disappointed... that weird sleep paralysis experience that I commented in the first post was a short LD too but I was in my bed and I couldn't move my arms in the dream and from where I was seeing that didn't look like my arm... it looked like it was not attached to me but i felt like I was moving something when I tried to move it but it stood still... so I thought if I was dreaming and tried to move myself really hard and that's when I felt myself getting outta my body and falling from the side of the bed... that made me panic and I woke up... |

You could lie on your side if drooling troubles you. WILD can be kinda tricky to master, it takes alot of pratice to figure out the best way for you to do it. Try counting breaths until you're sure you in SP. Ignore the SP sensations and just start visualizing something. Try to use any of your senses in that visualization and you're on your way into the dream. You should also give the other techniques DILD and MILD a chance, they're just as effective if not even more for someone as new as you |

Oh, thanks for the reply XD... few more questions then: How am I suppose to be sure that I'm in SP? SP is more than feeling your arms/legs heavy right? And DILD is used by practicing recall, and getting used to do reality checks and pay attention to dream signs, but it's like having an X chance to happen every night? Yeah I guess I need to practice a lot of WILDing to understand the best way for me to do it. |

SP is when your body is paralyzed. It's often accompanied by hallucinations of any kind. With any technique, getting lucid is about awareness of your reality. That's what DILD focuses greatly on, and is actually a technique you can combine with any other. It'll increase your chances to become lucid randomly if your WILD should fail. |
