      Lucid dreaming question, help me.

Hey guys, I attempted lucid dream last night but had trouble and ended up just falling asleep. How the hell are you supposed too lucid dream if you are not moving and keeping your eyes closed? Please explain this along with any tips that will help me with lucid dreaming. I hope I can get one tonight.

This is called the WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream) technique. When done correctly, you'll fall asleep without losing your consciousness. If you manage to stay conscious until the REM sleep stage, you'll go straight into a lucid dream. Also, it's highly recommended to only attempt this after at least 4-6 hours of sleep, or during a nap.

      Welcome to DreamViews!!

      <<<waves at you!

Try visiting here first: Wiki - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

I was about to suggest visiting the tutorials posted from the Home page, but the interwebs are acting funny and redirecting me to an old web site that no longer exists.

If that happens, don't be afraid, just be patient and try again. Dreamviews had a funny incident last month and it's still being cleaned up.

There are wonderful tutorials on this website. And the staff here is wonderful! Here's a list of amazing staff members!

Like melanie said, it would help if you find an induction technique that works for you. Here's a link to some articles that describe several techniques: Articles
I would suggest starting with a MILD or a DILD, as WILD's are a bit more advanced unless you already come by them naturally.

Please let me know if you have any questions about them, and welcome to DV!

Yeah, WILDs are tough, I've tried so hard and I just can't do them so far, you will find the progression with DILD and MILD much more consistent over WILD.
