      Question Any help?

Hi, Im new to lucid dreaming. I have tried multiple times, but i always end up in a sleep paralysis and wake up. ... But im going to keep trying.. I have a question, is it possible to have a headset on with a recording that says "your dreaming". if you hear this in your dream, would this make you consius or just wake you up?

Are you trying to WILD, by going into Sleep Paralysis? That is very hard for new lucid dreamers, and you should try something easier, like DILD. And about the recording thing, it won't prevent you from falling asleep, but you might not hear it when you are asleep. There is a chance you could hear it, and a character in your dream would be saying, "You're dreaming." if you have it playing.

Welcome to DV I agree, WILD is not the easiest method to start out with. I would also recommend method called MILD, which gives you dreams called DILD. MILD is doing reality checks and saying mantras. It's very helpful to ad sporadic daytime awareness technique . Writing in a dream journal is essential. Check out the tutorials in DV Wiki.

Headphones might help, but it's a hit or miss, most likely a miss. I would practice MILD and SAT. Happy dreams and ask if you need help
