It isn't scary at all! The hypnotic imagery & sounds are nothing to be scared of, & when your body falls asleep, it may start to vibrate a little, but it isn't at all scary. The only thing that could scare you is the hypnotic imagery/sounds. Believe me (I did this at age 3!), it isn't scary if you decide it won't be!

fear wont kill you. if thats your ownly problem then your lucky. my heart races too fast to finish a WILD. its all about your subconscious mind merging with your conscious mind. if what is in your submind is fear and horror then it might be scary who knows. if you fear with your conscious mind then you might be surprised to see your submind isnt scared at all. give it a shot

That has happened many times to me when I WILDed!

Your fear is derived from the unknowing. That is all. There will be no harm done to you. Just unfamilair experiances. Wich is natural to have the feeling of fear.
Once ocostomed to it, you will forget about the fear all together, for it holds no merit. It is just one natural consequence of the WILD technique.

oh yeah, there are scary times. I personally think WILDing is most vulnerable to nightmares, like WILDing and finding yourself in bed, and it feels like you couldn't sleep and decided to wake up. but actually you're in the middle of hynotic imagery and you sometimes hear weird sounds like heavy footsteps, and I heard people seeing dark figures running at them till they woke up scared. It feels very real, but it's all in your head, though. If you get discouraged after a couple of nightmares, then try doing it at like 4am when it's bright and morning.

question, is the ***-** a result of the heart palpatations or just because its a wild. and i still dont see how a sci fi is any different than a normal LD. unless it is astral?
