      Hey everybody.

I just joined a few days ago, so I suppose I'll say hi and introduce myself. I'm not new to lucid dreaming, but I am new to actively seeking them out. I've had a few lucid dreams before just by chance, and they are the main reason I want to induce them myself. I constantly have dreams where I know, somewhere in my mind, just out of reach, that if I want to I can somehow have a lot of power in the world (dream world that is), and sometimes I even have special powers that manifest themselves much like in a lucid dream, only I don't actually know I'm dreaming. All I know is the world is in some way different than usual and I've had some really cool dreams before where I can move things or fly. One very depressing kind of dream I've had before is where I know I should be able to do these things, but when I try nothing happens. I have looked around the site a little already, and I have pretty good dream recall. I don't have a notebook to write the dreams in yet, but I've had some pretty amazing results in just remembering dreams better than usual since coming here. I even remembered a dream I had completely forgotten a few days ago. It was about my SAT scores and when I got the actual scores in I remembered the dream. I just sat there, staring at the envelope.

I'm looking forward to spending time here with you guys and reading about your lucid dreaming experiences
"Speaking of which, did you find out about the you-know-what in your toolshed? As in, a name?"

"No, the dead body in my you-know-what is still a mystery."

It is so cool that you have done that, & it is common to dream about an event that is suppose to happen the next day!
      BTW, welcome to the forum!

      Hey there...welcome to the forum!!

I would definitely suggest keeping a dream journal. And man...I really need to start practicing what I preach. I will have a night with like 6 lucids and only be able to remember 2 of them the next morning even though I know I woke up in the middle of the night and thought to write them down but didn't. So definitely start writing them down.

It's great that you have had some control over your dreams already and you know how it feels to be lucid, it's an incredible, uncomparable feeling so you should learn all you can from Dream Views to have more LDs and gain better control of them. If you have any questions feel free to send me or any other Dream Guide a PM.

Good luck with your journey here...
