Thanks. I don't think I can recall ever having a truly lucid dream, but I believe I've had several half-lucid dreams where I fly as the method by which I achieve flight in dreams is deciding i dont want to come back down to the ground and jumping in mid-air to boost myself further up, so I'd guess that kind of decision is at least semi-conscious. Even more so in a recent dream I was being chased by something or thought I was and at the critical moment i decided i needed to start flying up into the trees to escape and then on my command i started to soar up, but then I woke up. I also remember very recently I became aware I was dreaming, but at that instant I woke up. I'm not sure if it is a trend for me to wake up when I realize I'm in a dream, most of the time it's because the dream might be a tad bit scary and I also was never looking to achieve ludicity at the time either. Despite not really having any experience I seem to sense it within more of a grasp than previously, not sure to describe exactly why I feel that though. |
