Wink *Insert Witty Introductory Title Here*

So I'm never the best when it comes to communicating, but I figured I would try to introduce myself. I'm Ruthie (as obviously stated in my username), I love music, writing, painting, basically I love anything that's artsy. My experience with dreams? I guess that's a whole different story.
I had very vivid dreams as a kid, like most people would recall. But I feel like I haven't grown out of it. I've had accidental LD's many times, but it seems like when I try to control what happens, my mind changes what I wanted into something totally different, and often frightening. I've also had night terrors (I guess I can call it that) where I've "woken" up but I would still be dreaming. I know this is normal, but my main question is:
Is it possible to have an accidental WILD experience?
I wasn't even thinking about lucid dreaming, just going to sleep like normal. But before I was actually asleep I started experiencing SP and hallucinations.
So, I'm guessing this is a normal thing that can happen to someone every once in a while?

I guess it depends on your definition of accidental. It is definitely possible to have a WILD without realizing what it is though.

And welcome to the forum! Please help yourself to some coffee and cheesy puffs

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

I guess I say "accidental" meaning unexpected or without realizing it. Thanks for answering my question!

What sort of things do you paint? Us artists need to stick together.
