      Hello from SoCal

      Hi Everyone

      I have been seriously getting back into LDing over the past couple of months and I discovered Dream Views yesterday. What a great site!

      I used to have many long and vivid lucid dreams when I was a child but they completely went away until recently. I started keeping a dream journal a few weeks back and discovered some dream signs which have helped immensely. I have had 2 very short LDs since keeping the journal.

      I'm looking forward to talking to all of you in the forums and hopefully this community can help me get back to my old LDing self!

      Some tips I have for you: fill in your DJ every day, do reality checks, and do a WBTB every day.

      Welcome! I found that as soon as I found DV and started hanging around chat regularly, my LD rate went from a couple a month to 10+ in a few months time. Make sure DV motivates you, and ride out the dryspells and periods of low motivation, if you keep on trying despite those you'll eventually get better and better. If you're wondering about something, everyone on the site loves to help, but us DG's are here specifically for that reason

      Wow thank you for all of your responses and tips! I'll definitely let you know if I have any questions. For now I'm just going to keep up the DJ (recall has been getting much better - wrote 2 full pages in my notebook yesterday morning), keep doing reality checks, and continue reading the awesome posts on this site (my favorite one so far is the 1000 things to do while lucid - hilarious).
