Thread: I'm a n00b, would like feedback if possible.

hello,

well i am new to this so i will try my best to explain things. I am 27 years old and since i was about 12 i realized that i could control my dreams. usually it was nightmares. Well for about the last few weeks my lucid dreams have become more and more, i guess i am curious to what i can do with my dreams. I talked to my wife about my Lucid dreams and she told me I should try to do new things in my dream. Well an idea popped into my head so i told myself next time i have a lucid dream i will try to talk to my mother in my dream.This conversation was yeasterday as well as the idea.

This afternoon i took a long nap. I dreamed that I was going back to my old job at a hardware store. As i am walking into the store i realize that this isn't my job anymore and at that moment i also realized that i was in fact dreaming. The second i realized i was dreaming every person in this large store disappeared in an instant. However my dog appeared to the left of me attached to his leash that i was holding. I wanted to talk to my mother who had passed away 3 years ago but i didn't feel like it was the right moment, things felt a bit erie, too quiet. I looked over at my dog and asked him well since i am asleep and we can do whatever we want where should we go? My dog looked at me, turned around as if he were guiding me somewhere. As i am exiting the store there is no one at all out there, it is extremely quiet, but now there is a fence trapping me in the front of the store. to the left of me is a 4 foot wall that was not guarded by a fence. my dog jumped over it and i fallowed. Once over the fence another fence appeared in front of me. I had the feeling as if something were coming for me and wouldn't let me out. Not really scared knowing i'm asleep i just closed my eyes in the dream and told myself that when i open my eyes i will be in the parking lot. when i opened my eyes there i was in the parking lot. This dream was not going as planned so i looked over at my dog and said its wake up time buddy. I woke up and ironicly my dog was laying there in the bed next to me. Big boxer dog mind you .

This is my first time ever really talking about this to someone other than my wife. This is also my first time ever researching about this. When i located this website today i was amazed how many people actually knew about this. please give any feedback wheather its inturpreting my dream or if you have any comments.
