Newbie, just flew in from a dream, but has misplaced lucidity... now where could it be?

Hi there! I just signed onto this site although I've been reading the tutorials here for about a week or so. I've been trying to lucid dream for possibly a year or so, but around May I finally got serious and started a dream journal. I had my first lucid dream in August and 5 more in the following month and a half. However around mid September I lost my lucidity... No worries, I'm confident I'll find it again. (buried in my messy room no doubt ) Anyone else have that problem?

Since I can't have a signature yet, I'll post it here.

Love it seems, made flying dreams,
      So hearts could soar,
Heaven sent, these wings were meant
      To prove once more,
      That love is the key,
      Love is the key.

My biggest weapon against dryspells is evaluation. Really analyze your attempts and see what you did right and what you did wrong, that why each night is a new lesson.

Instead of writing "no lucid dreams this night either..." and 2 weeks laters decide to quit, you can write "ok I didn't got a lucid dream this night, but I think it was because I went to bed too late so tomorrow I might try an earlier bedtime" and the next morning "OMG I was right this night I went to bed earlier and I had 2 lucid dreams!" and two weeks later "Ok now I have mastered the DILD method."

You see where I am going with this This way you can find the exact actions you need to do in order to get a lucid dream.

I hope you'll find your way.

      Love indeed

      Hi, welcome to DV!

MasterMind makes an excellent point. Try to figure out if you've changed anything lately, be it your diet, or activities, or anything.

It's great to see you have such a good attitude about it too, I hope you keep it up!

Seeya around, and don't hesitate to ask any questions whatsoever

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

I've had the same problem for quite a while now. paigeyemps and MasterMind are both definitely right, though--I would do what they say (in fact, I am going to do what they say).

Wow! People here are sure friendly!
Thanks for the advice! I'm planning to type out and kinda archive my dream journal on here so I can look at it online as well. Maybe I can see some patterns as to what I did to get Lucids. I know the only method I've really done was the WBTB method, I stumbled on that by a happy accident one morning and voila! 1st Lucid Dream!

Nice The WBTB method is really effective so definitely stick to that.

      Welcome to DV!

I try to get out of my dryspell (don't know if its considered a dryspell after only 1 LD) by trying to put myself back in the same mindset that I was in leading up to my previous LD. It hasn't worked yet, but I know I'm lacking effort and focus...
