      HI!!! Im new :3

So hello, I had never heard about 'Lucid Dreaming' Until a friend from school mentioned it in class, so i decided to do some research on it, and it seems amazing.

I would love to start having Lucid dreams and live out my imagination.
It's just it seems quite hard, I've been trying for about 3 days so it's not like I'm a pro, but most of my friends had atleast 1 lucid dream already.

And I guess the main question is, what is the easiest way to lucid dream, yes I've heard the regular ways before, Keeping a journal, reality checks, ect. But that takes time, i was just wondering is there any way to speed up the process?

Anyway Thx. Watch the amazing banana with aw ------>

      Welcome to dreamviews, Josh.

The easiest way to Lucid dream if you are new is using the DILD technique. personally, i think you can't force lucidity. it happens when you are ready. when i started learning, i had my first after about 2 weeks and it was amazing so just be patient. it will happen

      I sure did
I became lucid and I remember telling myself I should try and go to the moon so I closed my eyes and said to my self "Teleport to the moon!" and then BAM, i was on the moon

      hey Josh!

LOL at "And you went to the moon O________________O"

You'd be quite surprised what people in this community have done in their lucids! Also, I agree with benzilla, you can't really rush it, you just gotta do the best you can. Be dedicated, and earn that lucid! In my opinion, it'd be much better to have one super awesome lucid after a month than have a sucky 2 second lucid after a day.

I suggest writing up a list of goals you want to achieve when you get lucid, and motivate yourself with that. (You can take a look at this for inspiraton http://www.dreamviews.com/f11/1000-t...-dream-104556/ ) Another thing I agree on is DILD. Particularly MILD (mnemonic induced lucid dream), wherein you do mantras and keep telling yourself that you will have a lucid dream, you will know you are dreaming, etc. Keep up the enthusiasm and you'll be on your way!

I wish you the best of luck, and if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Welcome to Dream Views! This is the place to be for anyone wanting to learn how to lucid dream. The Dream guide team is here to help you navigate the forum and answer questions. We all have 3 green stars above our avatar. Click on our user name and you can then select private message if you have a question, or you can start new threads. Don't worry about starting threads that have been started before, just try it out, if it ends up in the wrong place one of us can move it for you.

The very first thing you should do is check out basic tutorials. This one covers most of the terms you will see members using, so start here, http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/

Also be sure to check out the DVA Dream Views Acadamy, click on this link to get there, DV Academy.

Matte , our Dream Guide team leader runs a general lucid dreaming class, and you can join in contests where you gain points for dreams you have. General Lucid Dreaming (Matte87)

Gab , another Dream Guide runs a class that is very valuable to beginners on MILD/DILD, which is by far the best method to start with. DILD (Hukif and gab)

Finally as far as the DVA stuff goes, there is a class on introduction to lucid dreaming. This is a great place if you are just starting out and need a little personal help. Intro Class (OpheliaBlue, RareCola, CanisLucidus, Chimpertainment, Xanous)

Now, on the lighter side, you may be excited to learn to fly! Here is a thread where people explain how they went about learning to fly, http://www.dreamviews.com/f14/can-u-...u-learn-40468/

Then just for a laugh here is a thread where people list all the things they want to do in an LD. It is mostly light hearted and supposed to be funny, http://www.dreamviews.com/f11/1000-t...-dream-104556/

Have fun and good luck with your dreaming!
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.
