      Hello again.

Hi there, my name is Erik and I joined this great forum 6 months ago.
For about a month or two I was lurking around and posting sporadically.

Then because of some changes (good changes but changes none the less) I couldn't keep up the dicipline to go through with my goals.
But now I'm back, and eager to give LDing another shot.
I already began keeping a DJ and immediatly I regained my old recall back.
As of right now, I'm about where I was when I stopped 6 months ago, which is being able to recall numerous dreams or fragments a night but not yet attaining lucidity or any form of dream awareness.

One new problem is my current job, it's no longer a standard weekdays 9 to 5 schedule.
Every week is different, including graveyard shifts.
This is really affecting my sleep pattern and means I will probalby focus on DILD and no WBTB for me.
Which is a shame because I seem to remember that WBTB really got me close to reaching lucidity.

Well that's all I had to share for now, hope I'll stick around longer this time.

      Welcome Booney

I rarely WBTB anymore, you should note that the way you fall asleep have a great impact on how you will dream.

So since you wont be doing WBTBs you can instead focus on your bedtime.

Clear the mind from all stress and anxieties and set your intention, then daydream until you fall asleep and try to be aware of the daydream almost like it was a full dream.

      It's just a tip

      Sweet dreams!

      Welcome back!

You might also be interested in DEILD. It's like a micro-WBTB and won't require you to get up. Also, you don't really have to do anything prior because the waking up part comes naturally, you just gotta notice when they happen.

Good luck! If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask :3

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Good to hear it is coming back quickly Sometimes a wacky sleep schedule can be good for lucid dreaming.
