      Staying Lucid

Hey, i got interested in lucid dreaming after watching the movie 'waking life' last week (v. good movie if you havent seen it). Since then i have been reading up on it through various sites and tried a few methods. Ive had 2 sorta lucid dreams so far. Both were from reality checks. First was looking at my watch (which i dont have) in a dream and then decided to read it again, and then the whole face of the watch grew, and the thing started reversing round v. fast. I realised it was a dream, but then got excited and woke.
Last Night i had another after waking early, getting up for 15 mins and going back to sleep. I was in a room and looking at an old lady, and decided to look in the mirror for a reality check. She was a completely different lady in the mirror, and i realised it was a dream. I tried to keep calm, but to no success, the whole thing started fading. I tried spinning, but just woke up.
Any other tips in staying in the dreams?. started a journal last night and got 4 different dreams.. god some are wierd heh. .

      Thanks

      Welcome

Try not to get too excited when you LD, that helps.

Also, practice, lots of practice. You did well by spinning, that is one of the best ways to stay lucid. You will get better at control and lengthening them.
      Good Luck!
