Welcome Meldmac!

Good dream recall is a big first step on the way to mastery. To master something you have to understand it, to understand it you need to have your own experience and knowledge.

And one misstake that many people make that stops their progress is that they put too much trust on methods, this is what I did as a beginner as well so it's nothing to blame yourself for.
What I mean by putting to much trust I mean that they stop giving themself credit for their success and also stop learning by themself.

I just want to point this out because this realization is what I think is the biggest reason for my progress today.

Methods is really useful, but should never be considered as fact, it's easy to understand when you watch a bad explained youtube video tutorial, but it's harder to be alert when you read a well written guide here on this forum. I am not saying that the guides are bad, they are probably really good but if you think that lucid dreaming can be learned and mastered by reading exact instructions written by someone other than yourself, your gravely mistaken. The reason for this is that everybody are different and every night is different.

So see the guides and tutorials as inspriation and they are just there to give you some kind of direction of how things generally work and what you have to work with, but as you practise learn to adjust the methods for your own liking and success and put the credit in yourself, but also remember to learn from the "failures" and not get dragged down and discouraged by them.

I am sure you will find your way though But if you ever feel like you would like some inspiration or help don't be afraid to ask.

Namaste.
