      Hello everyone!

      Hey! I'm Tyler, and I am 15.

I found out about lucid dreaming 6 days ago through reddit and I have been very interested ever since then. I was lucky to have my first lucid dream 3 days ago, and it was an amazing experience! It lasted a while, but I could not do crazy things like flying and summoning objects. I was just able to walk around and observe the environment, which my house. After it ended I had a false awakening, and that was awesome!
I am excited to learn how to lucid dream regularly. I hope I have my 2nd one tonight!

      See ya'll around

edit: Why is "how to lucid dream" hyperlinked?

      Welcome to Dreamviews, Tyler!

That's great that you already had your first lucid. Just to be able to walk around is not that bad for your first one. You will have plenty of chances to do other things. In some lucids, you can have different degree of control, or none at all.

Check the Dream Control forum for more info about that. If you have any questions, just ask. Happy dreams

PS.Some keywords are hyperlinked, if we have an article about that topic in DV Wiki.

      Welcome tweste!

When you first entered water for the first time you had to learn to swim in order to navigate.

Now when you enter your dreams you need to learn to think. And intend.

Everything in a dream is constant, so if you think that you want to go to Hogwarts for example, but then a milisecond later think of what you are going to do tomorrow, the Hogwarts will never appear. This is why you need to learn to intend, to will your unconscious to do a certain thing.

So while you are in a dream you need to calm down and be in control of your thoughts, your emotions and yes even your unconscious mind.

This is if you want to control the dream as easy as a Playstation 3 though. Dreams can easily be controled but the tricky part is to make each experience stable.

It's not so weird if you think about it, I mean dreams is the realm of thought and you navigate with your thoughts, now take a moment and think about your thoughts.
How stable is your mind really? Think of an red apple and don't think of an elephant... Oh don't tell me that you thought of an elephant...

It's that easy for your unconscious mind to trick you as well, so you see it's really important for you to be in control of your memories, emotions and unconscious, so basically what defines you and your personality, to be aware of that is to be aware of a dream! So to lucid dream is to be aware of the you, the ego!

Luckily for you flying and summoning people isn't that difficult to learn, it's the big adventure of Avatar and Hogwarts that is a little more tricky.

But with intent and will ANYTHING is possible. And the idea of Dreamviews is to help each other out and inpspire one another with our experiences.

So welcome to Dreamviews and enjoy your stay! And always ask if you wonder about something.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Congratulations on the lucid dream!! If This is the picture you saw on Reddit, just know it is highly inaccurate. The main thing when it comes to dream control is confidence. Believe something will happen and it will. There's a link to my flying tutorial in my signature if you want to read it.

Anyway, if you have any questions be sure to ask. Best of luck!

Woah mancon. There was not a single true sentence in that thing you linked to. even the RCs he said would always work.

Welcome. If you have questions you can message me or the dream guides (the guys that posted before me).

Good luck on achieving lucidity. Remember that you need to sleep regularly and you need a DJ. Some are exceptions, but if you look at the people struggling, it is normally because they are lacking in one of those areas.
