Is this considered a lucid dream?

I was just wondering if a dream like this would be considered a lucid dream.

I've had lots of dreams where i know i am dreaming and i have certain actions i want to carry out, but im not really controlling them. Like for example in a dream i had i wanted to bust down a door and thought about it. I ended up doing it but didnt actually control my actions. I dont know it was weird, so would tht be considered being lucid?

      Just wondering

I would say that is the bare minimum requirement for being lucid. You are aware that you are dreaming (not just waking up and remembering you were dreaming, or being conscious in the dream and not knowing what was going on.) Technically, you're lucid, but there are so many levels beyond that basic awareness that you can reach, with practice.

Yep, Oneironaut is correct...if you are aware that you are dreaming you ARE lucid. The amount of vivdness/reality/control of the dream depends on alot of factors and there are many techniques that you can learn here to help you better control your dreams.

For example, as soon as you know you are dreaming, do a reality check to confirm it. This will keep your mind from tricking you back into a normal dream (try sticking your finger through your palm, or holding your nose shut and trying to breathe in...etc). There is a whole forum on Dream Control that you might want to check out because there is alot of great advice about how to better control your dreams once you are in there.

Using verbal commans is great...and its doubly great when you look at your hands very closely when doing this. So...say something like "stabilize lucidity" or "increase lucidity" while you are looking at your hands. This should make the dream alot more realistic and help you to achieve better control over it.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

That was totally a Lucid Dream, lucidity is about being aware of something, being lucid is to know that you are dreaming, no matter how much your control sucks. But sometimes your control depends on what level of lucidity are you. If you are in the "highest level" i think you would have no problem in doing...well... anything because you would be totally aware that this is your world, and you control it.
