      New Dreamweaver Reporting in

      Hi all, just found the community via cracked.com.

      I've had a few lucid dreams before and had periods of trying to induce lucid dreams but they never lasted really long. I'm hoping to change that from now on, for two major reasons, 1 my own entertainment, 2 I heard you can practice certain skills (like art) in lucid dreams and would like that alot. I also want to act out some stories I've created so far so I can continue to write them in the waking world.

      Those are some nice goals. I'm sure you will be able to do them with some practice.

      Thanks guys, I've already started with OpheliaBlues courses as a refresher, and as practice to bone up on my dream recall abilities.

      oneiroer, it's a pursuit of passion for me. Everyone can write (well any literate person) its just at varying degrees. When I started i was only fit to write children's books (fitting as I was a child :p) But now I feel more confident in tackling larger stories. Just don't expect any epic novels in my name anytime soon.

      Right now I'm doing a comic so that I can get some art practice in with my writing practices.

      I've been writing since 8th grade. But like I said I don't have anything professional mostly just some short stories that play out like an anime scene, and a fan fiction that is currently ongoing. However last summer I went on a western kick which gave me inspiration for the comic I am writing.

      Like I said don't be expecting any novels from me for a bit. I can write a story sure but its still a bit from anything I'd want published.
