Talking psychospiritual liberation - celebrate lucidity everyday!

Hey y'all! I'm newhere and I love dreams. I have always been fascinated by them. I hate the ignorant misconception that dreams are simply the brain's way of processing and arranging data. They are my primary outlet for creative deliverance from the world of the waking - the matrix of physicality. My favorite thing about dreaming is that it's just as actual as waking conciousness. Understanding my dreaming allows for my understanding of daily waking life to be better developed and attuned for progress and achievement. I love my dreams. I am my dreams. And I am endlessly working day and night to increase lucidity. As all lucidity in essence is awareness, consciousness, I find the most important question to ask: what is the main ingredient of the ultimate freedom of experience? High lucidity. Consciousness has thus been proven by the study of lucid dreaming to be the trancscendentally invaluable element to higher existence. It is my personal belief that the ultimate goal of all conscious beings is to gain conciousness, therefore lucid dreaming is an immensely significant step towards achieving my goal of psychospiritual awareness - which, if finally experienced would likely be the state of being truth itself.

Anyway, some general things about me: I keep a dream journal andwhen I do firmly believe in dream guides and non-subconcious entities visiting and affecting dreams. I find when I turn my attention to the sky, I almost always becomes lucid, or at least exceedingly vivid. Dream stars shine so brigthly!

I have a natural affinity for herbs and other various entheogens. If you wish for any personal experience related advice with dream/alchemical herbs or other dream inducing naturals get at me! I love a deep conversation and I absolutely detest the notion that not everything is possible. Other than a night dreamer, I'm an astronomer, a musician, a poet, a physicist, biologist, mathematician, and a day dreamer! I am very excited to be a member here as it's my first real forum experience. I hope to make friends who have such a strong lust for lucidity as I. I eagerly await our interactions

      Hi nightlighter.
I like someone who can think outside the box. Maybe we will be able to discuss our ideas sometime.

      Welcome to DV, nightlighter!

      Awesome intro

If you ever have questions, don't hesitate to ask! See ya around

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

thanks! Ba sing se you say? haha paigeyemps! I'm a firebender, although air's my element according to certain ancient esoteric studies... Tell me, do you think that the Fire Nation could be a metaphorical representation of the US? And do you waterbend in only your dreams? Also, is it generally considered rude to change the subject like this?

Ba Sing Se, indeed. The impenetrable city! And nice, I've always been obsessed with earthbending but no matter what I did, water just came easy to me in dreams and earthbending not so much. So I just accepted my fate lol

And well, idk about the metaphorical representation, perhaps, but I didn't really think much about it.

Yes I only waterbend in dreams. Unless you count the times I flush the toilet and pretend I'm the one manipulating the water LOL

Changing the subject is fine, but if it goes on a bit more, might wanna start up a new thread

Wow, such a great intro! Have you asked a DC a question before? I always love the answers. LOL.

IDK how old you are, but you should be a philosopher, with that intro and everything xD. You're making me want to go to sleep and dream badly...
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

hahaha thanks! I do philosophicate quite often... :p And I haven't asked a DC any questions out of context, unfortunately. It's one of my goals though, for sure. I want to know more about DCs and their tendencies so I will certainly have to experiment. I am particularly intrigued by them as I just recently came to the conclusion that a 'recurring DC' was actually my dream guide! It took me a while to piece it together, but she always seemed to stand out in some subtle but inexplicable way. I will let you know about the in-dream questionaire!

      thanks for the warm welcome!
