I think you are trying to jump to stages you aren't ready for. How long have you been trying to lucid? |

i excersize so little that my body is never tired and thus my mind must fall asleep before my body even bothers - this leads to WILD being kind of hard. Maybe that's what you're up to |

Thanks for the reply |

I've not gotten to full on sleep paralysis yet but I think I've come close. It started with numb hands so I think you're getting somewhere.. It usually starts in my fingers and toes then works its way throughout my body. Try sensing what parts of your body feel active or energetic and try to ease and release their tensions. I've gotten good results by listening to binaural beats and meditating. I will almost fall asleep by going into a meditative state, then come out of my dozing off to find my body pretty near paralyzed. I have always been able to move, though its all tingly and difficult. I think imagining my body falling asleep and being relaxed and imagining the feeling of it helps a great deal too. hope that helps.. |

no offense when it does happen your going to wish it didn't. I've been through it and it was horrible can't grasp why this is so important to you ?? |

I suggest you turn your focus away from WILD and try DILD or MILD for a while. They're just as effective. I wanted to master WILD when I first started out aswell, I had the dedication but I couldn't get into SP because I was so excited. MILD and DILD combined gave me plenty of lucid dreams though after some practicing |

Previous Lucid Task: Flying [X]
Next Lucid Task: Telekinesis [ ]
2012 - LD's: 17 | Dreams: 24 - Updated every now and then...
Need help? Don't feel like asking a question in the forum? Send me a PM!
Thank you guys soo much for the advice, I will try DILD and MILD now, alongside trying to WILD. thanks guys |

I think that SP is a horrible as you let it be. I cannot speak much as I myself haven't experienced it yet but I think it would be a good experience. As for your main scenario i think it pretty much sums me up also. Matte87 is right and I think you should go for DILD and MILD before WILD, I'm trying that now. Tutorials for them can be easily found on the forums (I don't know how to link to them). |

Here is something that I found was a nice variation of doing WILD and DILD: |
