Thread: Just introducing myself ps. Any finns in here? =p

So yeah, i actually registered to the site like a month ago but i did not really use it for a while. Shortly about myself : I'm a 16 year old highschool student from Finland that likes Melodictechno, drawing, movies that have something to do with dreams and lucid dreaming(obvious). I started the this hobby in 22.10.2012 and i'v had 56 LD's since (Q: Is this well?) beginning writing down my dreams. The reason i started doing research and started attaining more lucidity to my dreams was to seek out the ultimate adventure i have always wanted to experience, the limitless freedom. Feel free to ask me as a friend or chat if you want.

Yes, you are doing great! Nice work! The fact that you did this well all on your own is impressive indeed, and you should be very proud of what you've accomplished.

That being said, you have many more LDs in your future. Pretty cool to think that even at your already-high LD count, things are just getting started for you.

I'm glad that you're beginning to write down your dreams. Lucid dreams are pretty amazing experiences, but the downside is that like any great experience, they fade with time. Getting them written down helps you not only to keep a permanent record but IMO keeps them better rooted in your long-term memory. Consider how awesome lucid dreams are, I think that this makes the process well worth it.

Looks like we started walking the lucid dreaming path at somewhat similar time, i had my first lucid 10.09.2012 and got 55 so far, and those are pretty good results indeed so far i think.
Which method are you using, i am curious? I am using mostly WILD myself, but having random DILDs every now and then, especially recently.

I think we use a bit similiar strategy that i usually try WILD and if it fails (happens alot : WILDs 14) i usually try WBTB afterwards. DILDs are my most common type of LD since i started and thisd is how i do mine:
I try to go to sleep between 22.00-23.00pm
I wake up between 3.00-4.00am
If i try WBTB i listen to music i like and relax (sometimes in meditation position) for about 30 to 40 mninutes depends of the mood.
I go back to sleep and try neither WBTB or WILD.
In WILD i just .... uhmm well, instead of trying to constantly focus on reaching lucidity, i just stay LUCID you know. Like i let my mind wander which is pretty normal type of WILD i guess.
In WBTB i just go back to sleep and it turns out DILD usually.
