      Hello Im new :P

Hello everyone. Im 23 years old and my name is Gerard. I live in Poland/Denmark.. Like i switch alot between those two Places.

Ehmmm.. I am pretty new to all this lucid stuff..
Since i have been very Young i had thousands of sleeping paralyzes. Though I was always afraid of them.. Lying there with no ability to shout or move.. Trying to shout for about 10 seconds and then i always snapped out of it...

So I just recently read about the thing about paralyzes, that they are a good thing if I want to enter a lucid dream or OBE... So for a few days i have been waking up 4 in the morning and try go to sleep.. Using Ramp timers and stuff...

I had paralyzes but i could not exit...

But I am very happy about reading about it.. Because now i am suddenly not afraid of having a paralyze like earlier... earlier i just wanted to snap out of it as fast as possible ..
Now I am sort of getting euphoric just by getting af Sleep paralyze because i start looking forward to see some alienated new World

Well all in all .. I hope there is something to learn here and hopefully i will also have something to share with everyone

      Hi, Welcome to Dreamviews!

I don't know much about the OBE side of things, but I hear that SP can be used to aid in Lucid Dreaming. I've never experienced waking up completely paralyzed myself, but I have seen plenty of people here on DV that could probably help with with that.

Good to hear that you are no longer afraid of your SP experiences. Good luck friend.

Missqu...What time did you practice WILD?.. Early morning or????

By the way i had the coolest dream today...

I woke up 4 a.m. (purpossely)... Then i was planning going to sleep Again 15 min after.. But i could not fall asleep until 8am in the morning...
I have this Dream Timer mp3 on my mp3 player... Which say BIpBip BIpBip every now and then... like.. 30min-4 min-6min-8min-12min and then 20 and from the beginning Again...
The trick here is that the timer has to wake me up when i am dreaming.. as i wake up i get sleep paralyzis because i dont move my body on purpose (YES IT DOES WORK VERY WELL!!!!)
But this night i just were Falling back into my endless dream everytime the bip sound woke me up...

      so heres the dream.

I was sitting in my old high school class. An old friend of mine, which was were much into psychedelic drugs, Peace, nature and stuff "lets call him Jackie".. He came to me and told me "If you want to learn how to inter another dimension then take this ticket"...
Then suddenly I was on a plane.. That what the ticket was for.. It was a ticket for some field trip somewhere and i was now on a airplane to get there...
As i was sitting on the airplane watching the Group of peoples in the plane which i think were going for the same trip or adventure as me... I sat and wanted to practise Astral Projection a Little,
I took on my mp3 and listened to some brainwave sounds... And suddenly I were in a familiar place from my birth city.. near forest and cornfields.. I was getting some advice from
a wizard og shaman or some other creature "hard to recall".. The advise was about how to astral project properly and what to do.. Sadly i dont remember shit of it hehe...
Suddenly i hear bipbip from my mp3 "in real World".. I wake up a Little but stil in trance state.. I dont move my body and suddenly i am back in my dream in the airplane...
So here i am back in airplane.. back from my astral projection...
I got this feeling suddenly that the airplane was losing height and was about to crash because i had this feeling of Falling Down or being pulled by gravity...
I got scared and hugged the woman WHO were NeXT to me. She told me that I did not have to be afraid and that nothing happened..
I got calm and I were now on the destination.. It was some kind of Beach with a jungle.. Very beautiful and i can recall how it looks very well...
Now i meet Jackie Again, and I can see he is very serious about some high level meditation stuff.. I go to him and he welcomes me..
I ask him if we should go to a party or something... And then he says "There are no city or parties here, this is a rainforest with magic, enjoy"..
So now i just looked around and could see the Beach and forest and was wondering about if Theres any wild animals out here..
Now I can hear my mp3 bip bip Again Again in the real World and i wake up in trance state for some seconds Again and then i get back to my dream...
I am now on this Beach near the jungle or rain forest.. whatever... I can see the peoples from the plane.. though i cant recall WHO they were.. I can only remember they seem familiar to me.
I looked at my hands, and one of my fingers was glued to the finger NeXT to eat.. Like glued with skin..
This is where i became partly aware but not fully aware.. Something was telling me that this is a dream but in the end i came to the conclusion that my 2 fingers got melted together
because i was meditating at the plane and had to sit still.. so my fingers probably got sweat and got glued together...
The last thing i was doing in my dream now is.. I was trying to break the skin between my 2 fingers that got melted together to unmelt them.. and suddenly i could hear this bipbipbip Again from
my real mp3.. So i woke up.. But what i didnt realise was.. I am still in the dream.. I was lying there in a trance state.. But in my dream i wanted just to get up since it was prob around 10am now and morning.
As i tried to get up i suddenly snapped out of that dream and into the reality...

This dream was very very very Lucid and many Things had cool details and seem somewhat real.. What im just dissapointed about is I didnt get aware.. ...
But I can feel I am on the right track hehe

When you say that this dream was very very very lucid, do you mean very very very vivid? Some people use those two interchangeably, so I ask to verify.

On this site the two words are used to mean very different things:

Vivid means lots of details and very clear.
Lucid means dreamer is consciously aware that it is a dream while dreaming.

One can have a very vivid dream which is entirely non lucid, and one can even be lucid in a non vivid dream, though most lucid dreams are vivid, but many vivid dreams are not lucid. Two separate concepts which may or may not both apply to a dream.

Being very very very lucid could mean that one was fully aware that this was just a dream and could consciously control it for example, but people are much less likely to say very very very lucid, but would more likely say that they were fully aware and/or fully in control in that dream. That's why I am verifying whether you actually meant very very very vivid.

PS: I just reread your post and realized that you did specify that you were not aware, so I am assuming you did mean very very very vivid. For the purposes of this site you may want to use these two terms non-interchangeably since lucid dreaming is one of the focal themes of this site, and thus using lucid to mean vivid would cause confusion here.

Since i were not aware i guess it was vivid but not lucid hehe ... But the part where i was astral projecting i was feeling i was kinda really doing that.. but still.. cant be sure.. I dont really have anything to compare it with so far... but thx for the info

Btw, I left Poland when I was still a kid, so when I last visited as an adult I felt much as a foreigner there. I have become quite Americanized, and since I never lived there as an adult, I have trouble understanding some of the cultural nuances of Polish culture, even though I am fluent in the Polish language, but for example I do not fully understand the use of the formal and informal form of "you" or rather how one would go about switching from one to the other without offending, and in general I am much more likely to accidentally offend people or not understand what is implied (said between the lines) in Poland because my culture is very different. I know some of the cultural norms in theory, such as respect because of age or because of position as opposed to the more common American respect must be earned, but even though I know about Polish culture, it is foreign to me now, and that causes friction between my parents and me for example because their expectations remain Polish no matter how long they have lived abroad, whereas I do not get Polish expectations at times.

Whenever I got paralyzed. The most lazy way is just to get paralyzed at early morning. I just used to do not move at all and wait for paralyze, however if you wake up about midnight you can try too, but in that case you have to arouse yourself. It takes about 1h ( I was arousing myself for 15 min) to be fully 'aroused' so I wasn't using that when I had got school.
