Hey, new here. But I have a question.

This whole thing is so interesting to me...I keep finding myself counting down the hours till I go to sleep so I can start. But I have a question, and as I have looked through this site and others that are linked through it, I am curious. Is it believed that there is such a thing as future sight in the physical world through a dream? I had an experience, and to most people this sounds most likely really odd, it even does to me, but I am not lying in the least. I was much younger, in elementary to say the least, when 9'11 happened. That night, I had a dream that I remembered vividly. I often would go into my parent's room to explain bad dreams that I would have, as it would calm me down to talk about them. That night, I had a dream that I was looking down aerially upon a barren landscape. The complete details of this dream elude me, as it was a while ago, but suddenly, out of nowhere, appeared two huge tornadoes. They consisted of fire and wind, and they stood side by side in place, causing mass destruction. There were no people around that I remember, but I got this general dark feeling of hopelessness. Like I said, this was the night before. That morning I went to school, and since I don't watch the news in the morning or anything, I didn't discover what had happened till an hour into school. My mom and I both talked about it when I got home, as the connection was made between my dream and what had just happenend. Any thoughts?

First of all i want to welcome you to the forum!
Your experience sounds really interesting, well, im not skeptical about alot of stuff so im very interested in paranormal stuff.

I would like to say that you did have some kind of prediction, but this never has happend to me. But in the case that you did have a prediction, i think you couldn't of had told that something was going to happen, because dreams can be so ilogic and meaningless.

Once my brother had an experience of having a weird dream about viewing his whole class sitting at a rock couch. And the next day he went on a fieldtrip and sat on the same couch he had dreamed about.

Well, thats all i wish i wish you luck in lucid dreaming, i hope this site can help you in everythinig you need (it contains all the information you could ever wish for).

ps: did you start a dream journal??

      Deja Vu

Yeah, I see exactly what you mean prediction wise. No way could I ever have made a connection, 'specially since I live nowhere near New York. Just as I was thinking about what you said about your brother's dream, and having read the tutorial, I thought something. It says you tend to have multiple dreams a night, but you most of the time don't remember all of them. Maybe that's what Deja Vu is. Wierd connection, I know, but it sounds like it's possible..Deja Vu has already intrigued me, because I tend to get it alot, and it's for certain scenarios or places that happen. It's a feeling that I've already seen the place before, even though I've never been there. I dunno, just throwing something out there, but if predictions through dreams really are true, could that be what Deja Vu is? Seeing something from a dream you don't remember?

Ive been having trouble with my HILD. Every night I do a HILD and I don't have a LD. I have only had about 2 since I have joined. Is there a way that i can make my HILD able to work at least twice a week
