      Hello! im new

Hi, im a 12 year old from Finland, I want to see lucid dreams because It's quite interesting and because i always have problems with getting sleep because im afraid of "sleep paralysis"

When i heard that closing your eyes during a sleep paralysis will help, I've had problems in sleeping even after that, though i know its gonna work.

I've never seen a sleep paralysis or a lucid dream, but i once saw a dream, where i was like "oh yea im gonna lucid dream tonight" but in that dream (inside the other dream) i couldnt control myself but i was walking a weird corridor and i knew it was a dream

Anyway, i have started using the "reality checks" whatever they were called, and i think i use them too much.

but anyway, have a nice dream!

Darn it! And I thought I was the youngest person on DV!

Anyway, I’m afraid that you have been mislead about the sleep paralysis though, since it is completely unnecessary to initiate lucid dreams. You can only experience sleep paralysis if you have sleep paralysis disorder.

I recommend you start with the Intro Class, and begin your career with Dream Induced Lucid Dreams (DILD). Happy dreaming!

Thanks, and i thought that lucid dreaming is basically that when you see a dreamsign, your dream will become lucid.

Though, is it dangerous if you see a dreamsign in a nightmare?

DILD is basically a lucid dream where you accidently run into your dreamsign or use a reality check and dream becomes lucid, is it?

Lucid dreaming is used to combat nightmares, so I don't see why it would be dangerous. And yes, you have the right idea about DILD, although combining it with daytime awareness: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...kingyoshi.html is what makes it effective. Remember, reality checks are only an aid.

      Hey there Naleksi!

That dream you described was indeed a lucid, so congratulations. Don't worry too much, this is a matter of practice, so as long as you keep yourself focused, you should have way cooler experiences in the next ones ^^ Here's a good guide to start your journey
