      First lucid dream ever.

Hey guys! I made an account a few days ago, (and before I will keep on writing, just excause me that my englis stinks, I'm from Sweden :P) and I'm just obsessed with this site! It's just amazing!

This night I just wanted to remember my dreams. So I did mantras until I fell asleep, something like: "I will remeber my dreams when I wake up tomorrow!" And it worked! I remember like more and more things from them and my DJ is full of details. I didn't make up a whole "story", because I didn't have time, but I wrote down everything I could remember. So, the mantras worked very well! BUT, there was something that happened during my third dream that I won't ever forgot.. I had my first LD! At the beginning, I started to get upset because it was just soooo cool, but I remebered that I would have to relax and breathe, so I did. I just simply understood that this must be a dream, and did some RC's before I was totally sure that I where right. Then I woke up, and felt amazing. The LD didn't last for so long.

I'm sorry that my english skills sucks but I just had to write this ;P

Welcome fairy to the lucid dreaming world. First off, Congrats on having your first lucid dream. I'm still a beginner just like you, I've been interested in lucid dreams for more than 2 years but it's only recently that i decided to keep a dream journal, perform reality checks, and to give more attention to my dreams in general. It's also very nice that you remembered to keep calm and tried to relax, in my first lucid i was so excited that i forgot all about keeping calm , stablizing dreams etc. Anyways, Good Luck and happy lucids!

Thanks! I'm really glad I found this site. I think that I remembered to keep calm just because I didn't wanna loose the dream, hehe. I have been reading much about LDing for the last three days

      Hi FairyAutumn and welcome!

Congratulations on the lucid dream. Almost everyone seems to have an experience like that the first time. With continued effort, you will see lucid dreams get longer and be able to explore and experiment.

If you ever have any questions, there are lots of people here who are glad to help.
