Don't mind me, just a fairly awful intoduction =P

Umm... Hi! So, I really have no idea what all I should be putting here in my introduction (or whatever this even is)... So.... Yeahhh....
So anyways, as you guys may have guessed, I'm new to lucid dreaming. I've never had a lucid dream before, except for one back in February, but I'm not sure if it counted, 'cause I only became lucid during the/an FA. (I dreamed that I was in kind of like a trance, and then woke up into the FA and somehow instinctively knew that I was still dreaming, and then I went ahead and woke up for real anyways, if any of that makes any sense...) Anyways, for the past 5 or 6 days, I've been trying to achieve a lucid dream through DILD, (also I've tried MILD a little bit.) and I've also been working on dream recall (which... KIND OF..? Seems to be improving? At least now I can consistantly remember that I even HAD dreams the night before.) and making reality checks a habit. Honestly, with my project ADHD, I'm shocked that I haven't given up yet. =p
Anyways, on a slightly different note, I'm excited to start lucid dreaming to explore my subconscious, and also to share my experiences with others who know the feeling. I hear this is a pretty friendly community, so I'm hoping that that means you guys are friendly enough to put up with the ignorance that I'm bound to display no matter how hard I try not to. :P So... Uh, yeah. Hi =P

Sounds like you're fully on the right track.

      Hello dragongirl253!

I also recommend Dutchraptor if you got any questions, plus he offers cookies!

That's the spirit, dream recall is always one of those things that people have to work for, but you seem to be doing great by your post by paying attention to it (it's a very important tool!). And fear not: we have many people with all kinds of experiences, so even a newcomer like you is bound to show us an experience that might help loads of people. Trust me, we had people giving the forum pretty great tips in terms of lucid dreaming in their first days of posting!

Trying out MILD? This is how you become skilled at it.
