      Thumbs up Hello!

      Hello,

I am Marvin, I am 17 years old and live in The Netherlands. I've visited this site before, but I just decided to register and spend more time researching how to get lucid. Unfortunately, I have a hard time getting lucid (last lucid dream I had is approximately 9 months ago), and I gave up for a while, but I love the idea to be able to create your own story, so I decided to collect some motivation again and to reach this goal.

This site has a lot of information, which is great but also a little bit overwhelming. Could anyone give me some information on how to start? It'll be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much, Joanna! The DILD method seems to be very straight forward, and I'm definitely going to try that one.

Sup Marvin! DILD is a good place to start. This is my favorite technique since it gets better the longer you use it:

Thanks for coming to DV. Hope to see you around.

Seems very interesting, thanks! However, I'm first staying with DILD for some time before trying a next technique. This is because I know that if you'd jump from one to another technique, you wouldn't be able to master them at all.

This is true, but MILD is a form of DILD (really any DILD has had some MILD connected). What are ya doing now? Just RCs?

Yes, I'm currently just doing RC's. Should I use the method you recommended?

Well, I like starting with one form of day time awareness, one form of night time. Then moving away from the day time. Remember also that tutorials are just guidelines. You must find your own way to LD. RCs are a good start to awareness, and a MILD tech like Naiya's is a good next step.
