      Quick Intro.

Hello everybody! I am new here and excited to be apart of the community. I have had lucid dreams before but have just started taking them more seriously. I am a huge fan of Neuroscience and love learning more about the brain, so I am using that to learn more about sleep and dreams. I have been reading A Field Guid to Lucid Dreaming: Mastering the Art of Oneironautics to practice my Lucid Dreaming more and gain insight about it. I have also just started reading Dreamland: Adventures In The Strange Science of Sleep to learn more about sleep and dreaming through science. If anyone has any recommended readings about the subject or just the mind in general I would love to hear them. I am excited to discuss topics on the forums.

Welcome to DV, Oneironautic94! I am glad to hear about your enthusiasm, since in lucid dreaming the right attitude can make all the difference.

Regarding reading materials, I assume you know "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge which is the classic text for lucid dreamers. I also enjoyed reading "Are You Dreaming?" By Daniel Love. And if you are interested in finding out about dream practice from the Tibetan perspective, "The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep" by Tenzin Wengyal Rinpoche is very good as well. Furthermore, we do have a thread of book reviews which you may want to check out: http://www.dreamviews.com/education-...endations.html
You may say I'm a dreamer.
