Hello, everyone.

This looks like a really interesting site and I'm looking forward to being able to discuss dreams with others who are interested in them: something I've been wanting to do for a while, so I'm surprised that it's taken me so long to finally sign up. As you may have noticed, the title says that I'm a night owl (this is true. I much prefer to be up at night and sleep during the day than the other way round; however, since I have to be up during the day I'm hoping I can learn to lucid dream more often so that I can do both, in a sense - the ideal solution

)

I've not yet put any extreme efforts into lucid dreaming, but I've had a few lucid dreams. Not a lot, and they tend to be quite short, but I have random phases where they come naturally (with the help of simple reality checks.) I had my first lucid dream before I even knew what lucid dreaming was. I've always remembered my dreams, dreamed in vivid detail and love writing down them down to solidify them in my mind so that they don't just drift away within a few days. For some reason I experience a lot of false awakenings, especially when I'm stressed; I want to work on turning these into lucid dreams more often.

Okay, I think that's enough.

Welcome to DreamViews! It's a good thing that you already have a pre-existing knowledge of what lucid dreaming is, and an even better thing that you already keep a dream journal.
