Hello, I'm new!

I can't remember where it was that I first heard about lucid dreaming, just that I must have been about fifteen years old since that's when I had my first (and only) one. I actually read about them before having one, so I wasn't really surprised when it happened haha... otherwise I probably would've been too afraid to sleep again out of fear of being crazy. Unfortunately I haven't had one since that time. I gave up trying for awhile because I got too frustrated to continue, plus I had other things to focus on instead of dreaming. Since I'm not doing anything at the moment, though, I figure now would be as good of a time as any to try it again! I'm two nights in already with keeping a dream journal. I've always had extremely vivid dreams, so I never thought to scribble them down as I remember a good portion of them at random times, but I'm hoping to find similar elements that I can look for in an organized manner rather than just pulling one out from the top of my head haha. I look forward to hopefully having more than one lucid dream in my lifetime!
