      Best greetings fellow travelers

      Hello,
I hope all is well with you.

I'm an American English teacher living and working in Saudi Arabia currently.

I was first introduced to LD in 1990 by a psychologist in the US who wanted me to help myself out of a terrible affliction with "night terrors" and I first started (finally) lucid dreaming in 1999.

Since that time, I've picked up and put down the practice for various reasons.

Now, I am in a good place to begin again. My schedule is light and allows time for napping (higher dream recall). I am aware of the steps that one can take to increase the likeliness of LDing. I also would like to pick up where I left off those years ago.

I've been through a myriad of sexual relationships in the LD state as well as fearing and facing my Master, playing games of war, strengthening 'super-abilities,' and learning to read on other planes.

My goal at this point is to re-connect with my master on the other side and absorb / study as many ancient texts (that were destroyed on this earth) and learn as much ancient wisdom as possible.

Thanks for your participation in this very cool and enlightening community.

All the best to you and yours.

Hey dude! You seem like a pretty sick kinda guy. First off, welcome to Dreamviews! Awesome story and I really like the goals you have set yourself, you seem.. very advanced, and that's bloody awesome, always cool to see some veterans signing up, it means that they might even teach me something, which I will never refuse to learn. Some threads that you might find useful or useless can be found below, welcome and enjoy your stay obmij!

Thank you Phased for the nice welcome.

I'll defo. check out those threads.

A note on your very flattering point of "advanced."

I'm far from that, I'm afraid. The result of not staying on course tends to bring one right back to the beginning in many ways (beyond experience of course). At any rate, I've met MANY souls much more advanced than myself (who are presently of this earth).

Thanks again, and I hope to see you around the forum,....and who knows...maybe elsewhere too.

Very interesting! I'm interested in these ancient texts. Never have I heard of such a thing. Is this similar to the Akashic Records? Anyhow, peace, I'm out!

From my understanding, yes. It includes and goes beyond them, again - from what I understand.

If I can learn more about translations, transcribing and even recording them on this physical plane (I've been led to believe it is possible), than this forum will know about it first!

It's interesting to me that you'd say this - and I don't mean this in a negative way at all....

but..my Master made it very clear to me (and a number of authors whom I can't recall exactly right now) that the #1 goal of Lucid Dreaming is indeed to uncover ancient truths and the most common (read: easiest) way of doing that is through discovering various libraries and texts on the "other side."

And by the way, it's not that any one of us is actually learning anything we didn't already know or actually discovering any lost knowledge.
      It only feels that way.

What we're truly doing is re-discovering, re-learning and re-membering concepts and truths that we are already aware of, yet in many of us it remains unconscious to varying degrees.

And this idea fits quite nicely with our modern day "prophet's" messages such as; Neale Donald Walsch, Eckhart Toole and Deepak Chopra to name only a few.
