Thread: Hey, I'm new here

Hey everyone. I've lurked around DreamViews as a guest for at least a year, maybe more, and I've finally decided to join.

I'm a novice at lucid dreaming. I have had a few lucid dreams involuntarily, particularly when I've been especially active in reading about lucid dreaming. However, I have yet to reach the point where I can lucid dream at will. I have a dream journal, but I haven't kept up with it consistently. I'm going to try to do better with that.

I already know this is an excellent lucid dreaming resource, so I have no doubt that this site will continue to help me in my endeavors.

In addition to my tremendous interest in lucid dreaming, my other major interests include mathematics, physics, philosophy, spirituality, religion, literature, writing, music, and art. I'm 17 years old and going into 12th grade. My current plan is to attempt a double major in mathematics and physics at university, eventually leading into a graduate program in physics. I'd like to get into physics research some day, particularly that involving theoretical physics in general, quantum mechanics, and astrophysics/astronomy. Additionally, becoming an astronaut is a dream of mine. However, saying it is difficult to become an astronaut would be an understatement, so that is not the only occupation I'm going to aspire toward.

For fun, I love using the internet, reading, hanging out with friends, doing martial arts, riding my bike, and swimming. I also love to listen to music a ton.

So, that's a bit about me. I hope to get to know you guys, and I'm looking forward to participating in this community.
