Hello everybody

I had my first lucid dream this night (I think) which is the reason I'm writing a post here.
I have been familiar with lucid dream, techniques, and so on for a while, but haven't really been able to be lucid. It takes a lot of practice and effort.

This night I had several dreams, about 5, and I can remember everyone of them quite good, it was regular dreams to me. The first dream was the longest I think, which we're what I call a chasing dream. I was hunted down in a small town by 10 guys. I had called a guy from craigslist, and when I turned up at his address his kid threw a stone on my car. I did something I can't remember, and was hunted for several days, one time they caught me, and beat the shit out of me, but the dream continued.

The next pair of dreams were more calm, but I can't remember if they we're linked together, I actually think they were.

I was driving with my dad in the dessert, were I just instantly felt the road looked funny (I drive a lot in real life, 2-3hours) where I became lucid. I got really excited, but I told myself "calm down or you're gonna wake up".

The dream continued, and I was able to do small kind of changes in my dream, I changed my muscle mass and went over to a girl I know from real life and did some fun stuff. But it was like I always had to remind myself that I was lucid otherwise it would disappear, and suddenly I lost it.

Is this normal, and what techniques will be a help for me?

Kind regards,

Mr. K
