      Tiredness While Dreaming?

      Hello.

I am new to these forums, and indeed to the whole concept of Lucidity. However, I have noticed something that happens to me in non-Lucid dreams (I have never had a lucid dream) every so often, and with increasing regularity it seems. I am in the middle of a dream, a perfectly normal, non-lucid dream, when I suddenly start to feel tired. So very, very tired, like when your eyelids are drooping, your head is bobbing, you're fighting to stay awake but you just can't. It happened in a dream when I was looking at a laptop, trying to read what was on the screen. It was something important that I was trying to read, but I couldn't see it because my eyes were blurring with sleep and kept sliding closed. I finally woke up from the dream, ironically, when I finally fell asleep IN the dream.

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or maybe if there is something I can do to either profit by/learn from this experience or stop myself feeling tired in a dream.

      Thank you.

Well, I've never fallen asleep in my dreams, but I know of people who have and have entered a dream within a dream. I do know, however, that printed text is usually very unstable and difficult to read in the first place, so it's no wonder you were having trouble.

Next time you start feeling very tired, ask yourself if you're dreaming and in this case it could be easy to become lucid. Beyond that, I don't have a whole lot of advice.
