Questions! Please help! I am so new to this

So I'm new here. I've been trying to find someone through dreaming, I've never done it, but I feel so certain that it is possible. I searched it on Bing (lol) and a link brought me to this site. I searched through all the posts I deemed relatable, and realized that this whole time, when I thought it was lucid dreaming I needed to do, that astral projection is what will do it. So I found a good post called Astral Projection: The Rope Method and I am going to try it...I just have a few questions.

1. can I find someone who I have never been around, and have only talked to?

2. Can I find this person when they are awake?

3. If they are asleep, could I enter their dream, possibly?

4. Can I even find someone, and how do I go about doing it?

If you know, please tell me.

If you have an image in your mind of the person you'd like to meet, you could try to dream about that. With some lucid dreaming practice it shouldn't be too hard. As for actually meeting somebody and interacting with them, I think you'll have to do that in the real world.

With Astral Projection, if you just want to see that person, you need to project into the Real-world zone which I think is what Robert Bruce calls it. This will enable you to visit people you wish to see in the real world, and see them "in real time" but you won't be able to interact with them unless you forcefully take them out of their body so they can astral project- but by all means that is a no-no in astral projection. If you were going to do that, you would need the consent from the person you were going to do it to. In the real time zone, you can see any person from real life that you wont, but most times they wont be able to see you. There are a few occasions of out-of-body travelers who have been able to be seen by others in the real time zone, but its rare.
Out of the real time zone, AP to me is pretty much like dreaming, you can summon whoever you want and do anything, of course, they might not be real, but that all depends on your view towards AP. Many people feel that it is just another level of dreaming, others think it is real. Im more or less leaning to the fact that it is just the less populated part of the dream world, but hey everyone has their own view.

3. If they are asleep, could I enter their dream, possibly?

The only way you could enter someones dream, is through shared dreaming, which to me is a very difficult process. I've never attempted it because I dont care to at the moment. It requires two people who want to share a dream together to focus on each other or something like that when they go to sleep. Look around on the forum on it, I think there is a thread about Shared Dreaming in the "Beyond Dreaming" section.

4. Can I even find someone, and how do I go about doing it?

You can find real people in the Astral realm, thats what I've heard from many of my friends who astral project. You can find other Astral Projectors and even other inter-dimensional beings. If you really want to find someone specific, your best bet is just to summon them up in the dream world, because chances are, they dont Astral Project.

Cool thanks for your reply, OneUpBoy71. Have you ever entered the 'Real-world zone'? How do you go about doing it? Umm....what are inter-dimensional beings?

Like I said, totally new here.

And lucid dreaming isn't exactly the deal here, I've pretty much been able to dream about what I wanted to since I was little. Thanks for your reply, though :-)

Nah man, I dont do AP, really hard for me to get into the astral realm, it takes alot of practice. I know that once you get into the Real Time Zone, all you can really do is walk around, and fly and walk. You can only spectate and travel by any means. Maybe interact with other Astral Projectors too. In order to get into the Real Time Zone- you have to match the vibratory frequency of the real time zone, and I think there is also a technique to project straight into that zone. I don't know what its called or how you do it though, you'll have to look that one up. (<< lol OneUp)

Supposedly people see Inter-dimensional beings in the astral realm, they are on a higher plane due to their vibratory frequency. Inter-dimensional beings are what many call aliens. Beings from other parts of the galaxy or universe or whatever. An organism that is not from this Earth.
