Aloha all you transcendental light beings
My name is Kaizen and I am a 24 year old male from Cape Town,South Africa.
I'm not exactly new to lucid dreaming as i've been dabbling here and there with techniques for approximately 3 years now,on and off, with mild success.(excuse the pun )
In total I've most likely had just over 10 LD's,although I'm i find myself to be in the premature stages, unable to maintain the lucid awareness once realized.
I've just recently decided to make it a priority, and happen to have some extra time on my hands to fully commit.(ie i can sleep in without any pressing responsibilities,so WBTB will no longer be a problem).
This sudden motivation was initiated by a 10 day silent meditation retreat, called Vipassana.
In these 10 days of solitude and deep meditation I began having the most intensley profound, vivd dreams...one of which where lucid.
It reminded me that our waking awareness is merely the tip of the ice-berg.
I've come to realize that this "art",this "skill" is more than just a night time hobby to fill your materialistic desires.
Sure, you can have alot of fun with it..but its is a direct link to the divine source, and your higher self.
I feel its our duty as humans to shed light onto this frequency of consciousness that is all to often overlooked.
It is now my goal to fully integrate dreams into my life.
Luckily i have a solid foundation of dream journaling, now all i need is to decipher them and persist diligently with all the information that you kind light weavers have here provided.
I look forward to learning from all you guys and girls, exchanging idea's and sharing transcendental dream journeys into the multiple layers of the astral plane.
Sweet Dreams!
